Sesame Green Bean Stir Fry Recipe
Yield: Serves 4

- 1 pound (455g) green beans, cut into 2" pieces
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) sesame seed oil
- 1 Tablespoon (10ml) soy sauce, or more to taste
- 1 Tablespoon (10ml) rice vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon (10ml) oyster sauce *for vegetarian or vegan use Vegetarian Oyster Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon (10ml) water
- 1 Tablespoon (10ml) cooking oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- (optional) sesame seeds or fresh chopped cilantro for garnish and extra flavor
- In bowl combine sesame seed oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, oyster sauce and water. Set aside.
- Heat large skillet on medium heat. Add the oil, then the garlic. Saute the garlic until it's soft and translucent.
- Add the green beans, stir and cook for about 2 minutes or until they are almost tender. Stir in the sauce mixture and cook for one more minute. Add black pepper to taste and top with cilantro or sesame seeds.
- Serve warm over rice or pasta.
