Radish-Avocado Salad Recipe in 15 minutes
We’re obsessed with this radish avocado salad recipe. In the beginning, this was started as a simple and refreshing radish salad recipe. Then there was a lonely avocado sitting on the counter begging to be eaten. The avocado was ripe and the perfect companion to this quick and easy salad. Within a matter of minutes one of our favorite vegetable side dish recipes was born. The flavors and textures of this quick and easy side dish is fantastic and healthy!
Radish Avocado Salad Recipe
Both refreshing and crunchy, combined with creamy bites of avocado makes this radish avocado salad so delicious. Adding the homemade vinaigrette makes it extra amazing. It’s hard not to want to make this salad over and over again. One of the options we add is the addition of soy sauce to the salad dressing recipe, which gives a simple yet super flavorful umami kick. The addition of lime juice helps keep the avocado from browning as quickly and lends a nice brightness to the dressing. Try to use fresh lime juice if you can.
Different types of Radish
There’s so many different varieties of radishes to choose from. The possibilities are endless.
- You can use the larger Asian daikon radishes and just cut those up into bite sized pieces. Japanese daikon and Korean daikon radishes are a few examples that have excellent flavor.
- Or you can use the red radish varieties. Head out to your local farmers market during the radish season and explore all the beautiful options! We love the farmers market for seeing all the possibilities that we can make with this salad.
- Watermelon Radishes are a fun choice. A littler harder to find, but beautiful.

Love this salad for the summer. We add romaine to it, and make the dressing with the lime juice and without the soy sauce. It’s fantastic!
Thanks Tara! Love your addition of romaine lettuce.
Love the dressing! I added a few more veggies like radish, purple cabbage, cucumber and tomato and then also added vermicelli to make it more wholesome. You really cannot go wrong with that dressing!
Yay! So glad you enjoyed the dressing and love the addition of the vermicelli!
