Making a sauce with both apples and pears is really amazing. I’m loving both the flavors together.
I love the combination of pears and apples! I especially love that I get to taste the pear more.
I’m a big fan of pears and it was sad not to see very many good pear sauce recipes out there. This one is the best I’ve tried!
Love, love love this recipe. Made several batches and friends love it. I don’t have a canner, so I used my Instant Pot, five minutes cooking, mashed with potato masher and blended to desired consistency and put in jars for use within a week or freezer for up to six months. My friends are saying it is amazing! Wish I could post pictures.
Thanks Barbara for the feedback! We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe!
This recipe is amazing! I threw in all the pears and apples I had from a CSA that weren’t quite sweet enough to eat by themselves and this transformed them into a delicious sauce. I used clove, not nutmeg and it is perfection. Thank you!
Thanks for enjoying the recipe Katie! Have a great day!
