If I double the recipe, would you recommend the same cook time?
Hi Cam, If you double the recipe it might take an additional 10 minutes. So maybe a total of about 55 minutes. Let us know how turns out. Thanks!
The beef came out so tender. Melt in your mouth good. I freeze the rest for next week. Thanks for the recipe!
Easiest and most tasty beef stew I’ve ever made. We love it! Will stay with the family and be out go-to comfort dinner.
I can’t wait to try this recipe…it looks delicious. But can I confirm 45 minute cook time with potatoes in? Seems like the potatoes would be pretty mushy.
Hi Cheryl, yes we enjoy the potatoes when they are softer and melt-in-your-mouth tender. But if you want them to be a little more firm, you can cut them a little bigger!
This slow cooker is a life-saver for a busy person! Your beef stew recipe gives me such nostalgic feelings from home. Thanks for a great recipe!
