Tips for Air Frying White Fish
- How Long to Air Fry? Air frying the cajun white fish takes about 9-12 minutes depending on how many fillets and how thick the fillets are. So expect about 10 minutes (average). But check the fish after 10 minutes and if you feel that you want your fish cooked more, then add more air frying time.
- Crispier fish: if you like your fish crispy, then pre-heat the air fryer for about 5 minutes before you cook the fish. This will give a nice sear if you like your fish to be crispy.
- Keep the fish from sticking by using parchment sheets like we did.

How to Keep Fish from Sticking to Air Fryer Basket or Racks
Fish can easily stick to the air fryer bases so we suggest using a liner. This will minimize tear to the fish fillet and have you less frustrated. It really sucks if you’re cooking a beautiful fillet of fish and it all breaks apart by not releasing from the racks or trays.
Must Haves to Make Air Frying Better

The Evo Oil Sprayers are the best. Perfect for air frying, grilling, and everyday cooking. Don’t clog like most others we’ve bought and have a good spray. There’s a bunch of bottle types, but most all have the same great spray head.

Perforated Non-Stick Silicone Mats are so nice for air frying. They come in Square or Round. The mats will minimize sticking and still have the holes to allow the hot air to flow around the food like it should in an air fryer.

Perforated Parchment Sheets are perfect for air frying or steaming in a bamboo steamer. Minimize sticking, easy clean up, and great air flow with the holes in the sheets. A must have if you have a wire basket/tray.
