For a crispier edged fish, preheat the air fryer for about 5 minutes before cooking. You can make the cajun seasoning or buy your favorite.
For best texture, only air fry as many fillets that can fit in a single layer in your air fryer basket/tray. You don’t want to overlap the fillets when they cook.

Ingredients
2white fish fillets(6 oz./170g each tilapia, cod, etc.)
1teaspoon(5ml)smoked paprika
1/2teaspoon(2.5ml)garlic powder
1/2teaspoon(2.5ml)onion powder
1/2teaspoon(2.5ml)dried oregano
1/4teaspoon(1.25ml)ground cayenne, or to spice preference
1/2teaspoon(2.5ml)salt, or more to taste
1/2teaspoon(1.25ml)black pepper
oil spray, for coating fish (you can also just brush the oil)
Optional for crispier fish - Preheat air fryer at 400°F (205°C) for about 5 minutes.
Make the cajun spice mix: combine all the spices together in a bowl - feel free to adjust the amounts on any of them to your own personal taste (1 teaspoon (5ml) smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) cayenne (or to spice preference), 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) salt, and 1/4 teaspoon (2.5ml) black pepper).
Generously season both sides of the fish with the cajun spice mix. Liberally spray or brush with oil both sides of the seasoned fillets.
Place a perforated parchment paper or perforated air fryer silicone mat inside basket/tray or spray the basket/tray with oil.
In a single layer, put the seasoned fish in the air fryer basket/tray. Making sure the fillets aren’t overlapping or else it won’t cook evenly.
Air Fry at 400°F (205°C) for 8 minutes. Check the fish and continue to air fry for another 1-3 minutes or until cooked to your preference and the fish flakes easily.
Serve with lemon wedges if you want a bright pop of citrus flavor
