Different type of fruit mojitos

There’s lots of options to add variety to this popular drink. If you don’t have different varieties of strawberries, then there’s other fruit inspiration for your mojito cocktail. The possibilities are endless! Just replace the strawberries by muddling other types of fruit:

  • kiwi – we love the beauty of kiwi muddled in margaritas. And they work just as good in a mojito. You can use green or golden kiwi.
  • pineapple, mango or passionfruit – these tropical flavors are always great.
  • blackberries, blueberries, raspberries: muddled berries are fantastic and it doesn’t take much to make the cocktail unique and flavorful.
  • pomegranate – this is great for Fall or holiday drinks!
  • cherries and other stone fruits: looking for a Summer inspired drink? use seasonal stone fruits that are ripe and ready.

Strawberry Mojito

The simple syrup recipe in the Notes is for a larger batch of simple syrup to keep on hand. It keeps for months in the fridge if you store it in a clean container. If you don’t want to make the simple syrup (although it always great to have on hand) you can muddle in about 1 tablespoon (or to taste) of sugar instead.

Notes
