It takes just a few minutes to get this garlic parmesan fish recipe together for dinner. Can I use this recipe for catfish??
Hi Janie, yes you can certainly use catfish. Enjoy!
I found this recipe when I was looking for an alternative to bread crumbs on our cod or haddock filets, as I’m trying to watch my carb intake. Not going full keto, just trying to be good. Wow. This couldn’t have been any easier, and my wife and I liked it enough that we’ve added this recipe to our “let’s save this one” list. And that’s with me using regular paprika as I didn’t have any smoked paprika. Can’t wait to try it the ‘right’ way. 🙂 Thanks!
Hi Don, thanks for sharing and so glad you enjoyed the recipe with regular paprika!
Delicious and takes almost zero effort. I would definitely add this as a weekly dish to make!
Thank you Lily!
can I use american or chedder instead
Hi Michael, yes you can use either of those cheeses. The finer the cheese grate, the better it will stick to the fish.
Can you grill this? If so, how? Mother in law would love recipe but is very sensitive to smells 🙂
Hi Arie, yes you can grill it as you would any fish. Enjoy!
Overall, it was very tasty – love the parmesan in it! How can I get the fish to turn out a little more crispy? I cooked it for 11 minutes and it was a little watery. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Hi Katie, it would help if the fish was completely dry of moisture by absorbing any excess water with paper towels. And you can cook it at a slightly higher temperature. Hope this helps!
This was fabulous!! I would give it 10 stars if I could!! I’ve tried other Parmesan fish recipes, many use mayonnaise. This one is simpler and it tastes so much fresher with olive oil, and the spices are wonderful!! Thank you for this awesome recipe!!! Have you ever used it with chicken?
Glad you enjoyed it Gina! This recipe will work great with thin chicken breasts too!
Is this made with fresh grated parm?
Hi Stacey, yes you can use fresh grated parmesan. For this photo, we use pre-grated Parmesan which turned more crispy.
This recipe is just divine. I finally found a recipe to get my kids to eat fish for once!
That parmesan crust is EVERYTHING. I love spice added to the parmesan. Gives it an awesome kick.
