I can’t get enough of this recipe. It’s way better than the frozen ones.
They were easy to prepare and turned out great. The tip about a little water in bottom under the basket worked. The bacon didn’t splatter and turned out fabulous.
Do I spray the airfryer basket with the cooking spray or the poppers themselves? You didn’t specify..
Hi Lindsey,
Actually no cooking spray is needed. Initially we sprayed the basket and the poppers, but after testing more, decided it wasn’t needed because of the bacon wrapping. It doesn’t hurt to spray either basket or poppers, but it isn’t needed. We missed taking it off the ingredient list but that is updated now. Thanks for the great question. Happy air frying!
I never thought of making these in the air fryer. I saw the video on facebook and tried it right away. They turned out great. We used thick cut bacon and took a little longer to cook, but they still turned out amazing. It’s so yummy!
Really amazing jalapeno poppers recipe. Good stuff and so easy in the air fryer. And it’s way easier too.
