Prep or Make Ahead Chicken Lettuce Wraps
For parties, this is a wonderful dish to make as both a main meal or chicken appetizer. It’s lower carb and healthier than most other starchy entrees. Best of all, you can make this ahead of time.
- Just cook all the sriracha chicken filling ahead of time. When you re-heat the chicken it still tastes wonderful. We usually like to store the cooked chicken in the serving bowl. Then we microwave the chicken or quickly re-heat it on stove top. Then just pour back into the serving bowl.
- If you want to cook the chicken before serving, then prep all the raw chicken and sauce in separate bowls. Right before serving, you can cook everything fresh in the pan.
- For serving ideas: Add platters of fresh lettuce and a big bowl of the filling, then allow your guests to make their own chicken lettuce wraps. Some other great variations on chicken lettuce cups recipes are thai larb chicken lettuce cups.
