Best Summer Dessert: Grilled Peaches with Ice Cream
Our grilled peaches with ice cream recipe is an amazing Summer dessert. It’s stunning, delicious and wonderful for peach season when they’re plentiful and juicy.
Can you grill fresh peaches?
Certainly you can! The smoky flavor that’s imparted on the peaches makes this luscious fruit so much more flavorful. You can add grilled peaches to salads, or serve as a side dish next to some grilled meats. Our favorite is using warm grilled peaches as a dessert with ice cream on top. If you want to make it even more simple, just add some whipped topping or fresh whipped cream on top with a drizzle of honey. It’s spectacular. If you love greek yogurt, that’s a great topping too.
Easy Grilled Peaches Recipe
Grilled peaches is one of the best Summer dessert recipes, ever! No matter how many times we’ve made this, we’ve devoured the grilled peaches like it’s nobody’s business. When we have peaches that aren’t too naturally sweet or not perfectly ripened we definitely don’t let them go to waste. For these types of peaches, they’re actually perfect for grilling because the grilling really brings out the fantastic flavor and makes the texture even better. In fact, when Summer peaches are perfectly with natural sweetness , we’d rather eat them fresh. It’s the “ok” peaches that get grilled and they’re adored by everyone.

What if you can’t BBQ or Outside Grill? Can you use a grill pan?
Yes, you can a grill pan if you want to cook inside. Just heat up the grill pan on your stove until it’s hot, then continue with the recipe. If you can, try to find freestone peaches instead of clingstone peaches. The clingstone peaches will be a little harder to remove the seed or pit. You’ll have to use a knife to cut the sides or “cheeks” of the peaches then grill that.
Don’t forget the ice cream!
Lightly brushed with a butter and brown sugar glaze, the peaches grill to perfection with a fantastic flavor and just a touch of the brown sugar sweetness. This recipe for grilled peaches results in a deliciously flavorful and tender peach that just melts in your mouth. Now after you’ve grilled the peaches and devoured a few, hopefully you’ll have some left to top with ice cream. The melty ice cream on top of the grilled peaches truly is one of the BEST summer desserts, ever. Just a few ingredients makes Summer delicious and fantastic. This is one of the desserts that makes us look forward so much to Summer.
