Many people use multiple slices of bologna, but we find the egg doesn’t always cook the best with that much meat insulating it underneath. We personally like it with just one slice, but you do you.
In a microwave safe bowl, lay 1 to 3 slices of bologna (see head note).
Lay the slice of cheese on top.
Crack the egg on top of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper, to your taste.
Cover the bowl with a silicone bowl cover, microwave-safe plate, or paper towel and place in the microwave.
Microwave on High for 1 minute. Let stand for 1 minute covered before removing cover to check doneness. If needed, cover again and continue microwaving in 15-20 second intervals until cooked to your preference.
