Baking with other types of white fish other than cod will have different baking times. Thinner fillets like tilapia or sole will cook quicker. Please keep checking the fish to ensure it's cooked enough or not too much.

Ingredients
46 oz./170gcod filets, or other similar white fish fillets
1/2teaspoon(2.5ml)salt
1/4teaspoon (1.25ml)fresh cracked black pepper
1/2teaspoon(2.5ml)smoked paprika , optional or to personal taste
3Tablespoons(42g)salted butter , softened
2-3Tablespoons (30-45ml )minced garlic , or more if you like
1Tablespoon(15ml)fresh minced herbs , dill, parsley or basil
cooking oil or oil spray , for the baking dish
lemon wedges , optional serving
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 400°F/205°C. Lightly oil a baking dish and set aside.
Gently rinse cod fillets in cold water and pat dry. Season both sides of cod with salt, pepper, and paprika. Set aside.
Make the compound butter: in bowl stir together the softened butter, garlic and parsley.
Rub compound butter on both sides of the cod.
Bake at 400°F/205°C for about 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Internal temperature of the fish should be 145°F/63°C.
Reserve the melted butter sauce in the baking dish to pour over the fish before serving.
Serve with your favorite vegetables and lemon slices (optional).
