Add extra seasonings if you want for a burst of extra flavor! When the meat cools down a bit it’ll be less saucy. So if you like saucy sloppy joes, then eat it while it’s still warm! If you like it on the sweeter side, you can use 3/4 cup of ketchup and eliminate the tomato sauce. You can also make the sloppy Joe mix ahead of time and then re-warm it somewhat before assembling the sliders.

Ingredients
For the Sloppy Joe Mix
1pound(454g)ground beef(preferably a leaner meat, 85-90% lean)
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil then add the onions. Sauté onions until soft and fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in beef and cook beef mixture for about 3 minutes, or until lightly browned. As it cooks, break up the meat into smaller pieces. If you like it chunkier, don't break up the beef too much.
Stir in the ketchup, tomato sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder. Mix until evenly combined. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper to taste.
Continue to cook at a simmer for about 10 minutes. If your beef is on the fattier side, skim off some of the excess fat.
Allow to cool slightly before making sliders. It will help firm up the sloppy Joe mix a little.
Preheat oven to 350°F/175°C.
Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom half on a baking sheet tray.
Place a layer of cheese the add any optional toppings you like (pickles &/or red onion, crispy onions, etc). Top with the sloppy Joe mix.
Optional - Add another layer of cheese if you like them extra cheesy.
Put the top of the rolls back on, over the meat. Brush with melted butter.
Bake at 350°F/175°C for about 10 minutes or until tops are toasted and cheese is melted.
