5-6cupschopped lettuce(romaine hearts or green leaf)
1largecucumber, seeded and diced
For the Shrimp Cocktail:
1poundcooked shrimp, de-viened and shells removed
1/2cupketchup or tomato sauce (but ketchup tastes better)
2TablespoonsSriracha or Homemade sriracha or hot sauce, or more to taste
1/2teaspoonsoy sauce(or use Tamari Soy Sauce for Gluten Free)
1/2teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
1teaspoonprepared horseradish
1teaspoonfresh lemon juice
black pepper to taste
fresh lemon slices(optional)
Instructions
In bowl, combine ketchup, soy sauce, sriracha hot sauce, Worcestershire, horseradish, fresh lemon juice and black pepper. Stir and combine well. Refrigerate the cocktail sauce for about 30 minutes.
Cut the shrimp into bite sized pieces and combine with the cocktail sauce.
When ready to serve, toss together the lettuce, cucumbers, shrimp and cocktail sauce.
