Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Cookie and ice cream scoops make balling the cookies a breeze. We don't know how we lived without them. Here's one of our favorites.


  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup  unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt or Sea Salt
  • 1 cup  unsalted Butter , softened to room temp.
  • 1/2 cup  packed Brown Sugar
  • cup  Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 10 ounces Peanut Butter Chips  (1 2/3 cups)


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a couple sheet pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a mixer, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar until well combined, about 1 minute. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Stir in the flour mixture until just combined. Stir in the peanut butter chips.
  5. Scoop 1 1/2-inch sized balls of dough onto the lined sheet pans, spacing them about 1 1/2-inches apart. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cookies are just set and lightly browned. Let them cool for a few minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
