Ingredients
2(20mm)Meatloaf slices (approx. 3/4-inch thick), leftover slices are ideal
1/2Tablespoon(7.5ml)Vegetable Oil
Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
4slicesBread
Optional Sandwich Condiments
Dijon Mustard
Mayonnaise
Crispy Lettuce, iceberg, romaine, green leaf, etc…
Red Onion slices
Pickles
Tomato slices
Instructions
Slice the meatloaf into an approximately 3/4-inch (2cm) slice.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the oil and then place the meatloaf slices cut side down. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until browned.
Carefully flip the slices over, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until browned and heated through.
Toast the bread slices and then dress with mustard and mayonnaise. Assemble the sandwich with the desired condiments and enjoy!
