LEFTOVER MEATLOAF SANDWICH

Ingredients

  • 3/4- inch Meatloaf slices , leftover slices are ideal
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil , canola oil, grape seed oil, olive oil, etc…
  • Salt , to taste
  • Black Pepper , to taste
  • sliced Bread

Desired Sandwich Condiments

  • Dijon Mustard
  • Mayonnaise
  • Crispy Lettuce , iceberg, romaine, green leaf, etc…
  • Red Onion slices
  • Pickles
  • Tomato slices

Directions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the oil and then place the meatloaf slices cut side down. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until browned. Carefully flip the slices over, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until browned and heated through.
  2. Toast the bread slices and then dress with mustard and mayonnaise. Assemble the sandwich with the desired condiments and enjoy!
