Air Fryer Butternut Squash

Cooking time is approximate and depends on the size you cut the squash. If squash is cut smaller, it’ll cook faster and become crispier. Bigger pieces will require more cooking time and more shakes and stirs.  If your air fryer is smaller, cook this in batches


  • 1 small butternut squash (1.5 pounds), peeled and cut into 1/2” cubes
  • 2 Tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt , or to taste
  • black pepper , to taste


  1. In large bowl, whisk together oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add squash and toss in marinade to coat all squash pieces.
  2. Transfer squash to air fryer basket (if you have a small air fryer, cook it in two batches).

  3. Air Fry at 380°F for 20-24 minutes. After cooking for 10 minutes, shake and turn the squash, then continue cooking for the remaining 10 minutes or until the squash is tender.
  4. Serve warm.
